Weren't we so blessed to have Mawmaw Venola for so long?
Although we will miss her, we should be thankful for such a sweet, Christ-like woman as an example in our family (not to mention the fact that we were blessed to see FIVE generations together).

Thanks for this post. I had not seen this pic, but it is so sweet. It's funny that Sommer was afraid she wouldn't be able to hold him after she had 12 children in all. I guess it's like riding a bike, you never forget how. She really was the most Christ-like person I've ever known, and a beautiful example of unconditional love for everyone.
