That's so funny that we all called Dad and sang that same version of "Happy Birthday" to him!
Dad, I'm so glad you got to have a Nine-tastic birthday. It was on 09-09-09 and you stayed up until 9:09. That's crazy!
We love you so much! I especially love what a good story-teller you are, how creative you are, and how much you care for all of us.

Had so much fun with dad tonight. I was working a 12 hour shift, so we met at Wintzell's before. We ate ,then walked on the river a little while. He was in an especially goofy mood. It was fun! And thanks to Wesleyan Women!! I used the gift certificate from the "What not to wear" night for the birthday meal. When I walked in to meet him he started sniffing me, saying
"You smell good, you smell good" then he looked at the waitress and said, "smell her, she smells good". Maybe I'll take a bath more often!! Anyway, thanks for posting this, Brooke. Cant wait for the REAL birthday party! Pics to follow!
