THIS WEEKEND I TOOK ON THE CHALLENGE OF BEING PLAYFUL!!

Do some art = I photographed a beautiful girl blowing bubbles!

Climb

Swing - This was Grant's newly-built tree swing

Take a bubble bath - so relaxing!

Blow Bubbles - which I have always been a fan of

The other three are: Run, Jump and Get Dirty, which was very spontaneous, so there are no pictures.  I have to tell you about it though, because it was one of those things that only happen when you have been together for 27 years. Tony and I were doing our morning walk and it had been raining for days. We were approaching a mud puddle, which we could have easily avoided.  All of a sudden, we both broke into a sprint and RAN to the puddle, JUMPED around, and of course, we both got very DIRTY!  IT WAS HILARIOUS!  I wanted to accept this challenge from Brooke's blog since merely months ago I never thought I would be able to do any of this stuff again. This is a testament to never getting too old or too sick to have fun. Also, it's a praise to My God. Four months ago, after my second cardiac catherization, I was very depressed, and thought all the fun times in my life were over. Thanks to God, I think there's a few more to come, and I can't wait to see what He does next!!  Every good and perfect gift comes from above!

MY FRIEND IS MOVING TO KAZAKHSTAN!! SADNESS!!!

I'm so sad about Nora moving away. We got to know each other so well at "Stephen's Ministry" classes at church, and we had a kindred spirit. We started a weekly luncheon with some ladies at church, and it was so much fun! The great fun about having lunch with Nora is, you never know who's going to show up. Once I called to see if she was there yet and the conversation went something like this: "I'm not there yet, but there should be a table with three ladies, one from Turkey, one from Germany and one from Brazil." "I see them, I'll go introduce myself. See you in a minute!" She taught at the Capital School, so she met a lot of people who were in Tuscaloosa temporarily. Her friendship has enriched my life so much! Thank God!

We saw 42nd Street at the Fabulous Fox Theatre on Peachtree in Atlanta. Tony's verdict: LOVED IT!
