A Springy Stroll

Since the weather was so nice this past Saturday, Grant and I went for a little nature walk through the Arboretum. It was so nice. Everyone should go there more often!

There were so many nice little ornamental iron pieces (I think done by the guy who did the gate at CHOM, who Dad talked a lot to at Kentuck this year).
One cool part is the very tall tree stand. I was a little uneasy (fear of heights) but it was too beautiful to worry about that.
Grant is actually really, really high in this tree because it sits in the middle of the tree stand, so you can climb up in it from there.
Trying to catch an overhanging limb. Grant always makes fun of what a horrible jumper I am, but I think you all can see my skills here for yourself.
Grant likes to destroy things in nature (like break limbs and such) but he was okay. Maybe he was feeling the springy, nature-y goodness because of the weather.

How fun! Looks like you are an excellent jumper! Wish the weather would stay this nice. Too bad that crazy groundhog saw his shadow!
