TIS THE SEASON - THE BUSY SEASON, THAT IS

But we love it....
We decorated a tree for Josiah.
It has vintage toy ornaments, which he really just wanted to play with

Tony and I had a date day. We went to Holidazzle in B'ham, then saw the TransSyberian Orchestra.  Awesome!  I attended a Christmas Karaoke party with my ladies circle at church.
Meanwhile, on Saturday Josiah is getting serious about dental hygiene.  He has 6 teeth now!
Brooke and I saw Derek Webb and Sandra McCracken Sunday night at Workplay.  We especially love her.  Hear some of her new music!
Her voice is angelic!  If I could sing like her, I'd never talk,  I'd just sing everything.  (That might get a little annoying)

There are so many shows going on right now.  Some friends and I  saw  'It's a Wonderful life: A Live Radio Show" Friday night.  A great new, funny way to hear this old story.
Hope EVERYONE  is having a joyous Holiday season!!!

christmas tree!

Well, since Mom is the only person who has gotten her beautiful tree up so far, Grant and I made a fun tree this afternoon after church.

We made it out of some paper lanterns that we borrowed from Brett and Kelsey.

We'll still put up our real tree, but we thought this was a fun new decoration!

(I guess I'm not exactly the best Vanna White!)

Thanks to the kiddos, the Christmas tree was up on time - and without a hitch!

The kids still love to help decorate my tree - I'm so glad!
We still watch Elf, our Official Christmas movie and dance around to the music

We changed the official movie to Elf from White Christmas when the boys were added to the family
It was just toooo girly for them
But we still watch it during girl time!

TURNED OUT KINDA .....  MAGICAL!!

England!

We've been having a great time with Adam and Elizabeth in England. Here are some pics:

Cambridge

Cambridge, where Adam and Elizabeth live, is about a 45 minute train ride from London. We've spent a couple days hanging out in the city, checking out the different colleges that make up Cambridge University and the town.

This is Christ College, where we took a tour of the Chapel.

There's a neat river and common area that runs through the town, with tons of rowers and house boats on it.

Ely
We drove to Ely to check out the town and to see the big Cathedral they have there. We went up on the Cathedral's tour, which was really high.

In England, you're not allowed to ramp your motorcycle over cars unless you're loading.

Norwich
This carousel was set up in front of this church in Norwich for the holidays.

In Norwich, we went on a tour of this cool castle.

London
We got one of those bus tours, where you can hop on and off, so we could see more of London in the two days that we went there. It was a great choice, because it also included a boat tour of the Thames, that we took the second night we went to London.
Buckingham Palace

They've cut the budget at Buckingham Palace, and had to replace some of the guards with these guys. Just kidding, this was in Harrods.

On our second day, we went to the Victoria and Albert Museum, which was huge.

England is so much fun. Happy Thanksgiving!
