 John and Nora breeze into Tuscaloosa every summer, and we soak up as much fun as we possibly can

They are always so much fun!  This year they are moving to China, so everyone pray for their safety and that they will be a light to this Communist country

 Well, I can't really post any pics of the first hang-out day.  We sat around in pajamas and watched movies all day.  It was WONDERFUL!

SO I WAS BLOGGING AROUND THIS WEEKEND....

DON'T YOU JUST LOVE STORIES THAT START WITH THAT?  ANYWAY, I FOUND THIS ON ADAM AND E. BLOG:  FLEET FOXES!!    I absolutely loved this video for two reasons - 1) I love their harmony! We recently saw them in Atlanta.  They are even more awesome in person than on their recordings, and 2) this video is set in San Francisco, which we recently visited.  The video is old school San Francisco - AWESOME!  It even flashes a street sign for Market Street, which Cathi and I got lost on while trying to navigate the bus system.

 WHAT HAPPENED?!  I USED TO TEACH THESE LITTLE GIRLS IN CHILDREN'S CHURCH, AND NOW 2 ARE MARRIED!

 WE HAD A SCAVENGER HUNT THAT INCLUDED A PICTURE AT GOVERNMENT PLAZA FOUNTAIN.  IT SAID NOTHING ABOUT GETTING IN.  HOWEVER, IT WAS VEERRRY HOT.  LEGAL?  NOT REALLY FUN? NECESSARY? ABSOLUTELY!!

 SOMMER HAD TOO MUCH MONEY, SO SHE LOCKED HER KEYS IN HER CAR SO SHE COULD EMPLOY A LOCKSMITH AND BOOST THE TUSCALOOSA ECONOMY.  ISN'T SHE THE SWEETEST?!

Ok, I know I said "Joseph" was my favorite Tuscaloosa Theatre production, but THIS is definitely my fav up til now!!

I saw this show in NYC, and Gary Wise, the narrator/star of this classic musical is by far better than the NYC version
